65. Telling business stories with documentary photography

Everyone loves a good story.

Documentary Business Photography helps you tell the story of your BRAND.

Did you know that people are 22 times more likely to remember facts if they are packed inside a story?

Did you know that people process images 60,000 times faster than text?

It is easier for someone to understand what you do when you show them.

People are visual, first.

Did you know that you have 3 seconds to make a compelling argument for someone to stay on your website? If you pass that first trial then you have another 4-5 seconds, in which they will read your headline and decide whether to stay or leave.

What is the first thing that will pull them in?

If you said an image, you are correct!

But what kind of an image? One they can relate to; an image that shows either who they will be working with or that sets them in the place where they see themselves.

Images can be used all over your website and social media to show what you do, to bring people into your work life.

WHERE CAN YOU USE THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS PHOTOGRAPHY?

These images are very versatile, you can use them everywhere, often with much more impact, if shown a few of them together, “telling a story”

  • On the header of your website

  • On your About Me / About us page

  • On a page to illustrate how you work

  • Throughout your entire website

  • On Social Media

WHO IS BUSINESS DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY IDEAL FOR?

This type of photography is ideal for you if:

  • You have a CRAFT

  • Or you produce physical products

  • Also if you offer a service that requires you to be active

  • Or if you want to record: “A day in the life of your business”

HOW TO BOOK A SESSION WITH ME

1. Click HERE and book, at your convenience, a FREE Consultation call with me.

2. During this consultation call, we will discuss your needs and wants.

3. I will provide you with a Pricing Guide and a proposal for the Photo-shooting which I think best suits your needs.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU BOOK YOUR SESSION?

Once you book the session, there are a few steps that take place before in order to make sure that we make the most out of the photoshoot:

  • We will have a first planning call, where we discuss the location, all the details of what you do, best time of the day to do the shoot, amongst others.

  • We will also discuss what you will be wearing during the shoot.

  • We will discuss in detail your work process and we will agree on the best way to capture the most within the allocated time of shooting.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE PHOTO SESSION?

1. You prepare yourself and your workspace beforehand.

2. I arrive 30 minutes before the time we agree to start to scout the place and set-up my equipment.

3. I photograph while you work, I might ask for small changes, to take better advantage of available light or avoid distracting backgrounds, but for the most part I will not intervene with your workflow.

4. We work in a very relaxed atmosphere.

5. I will photograph during the time and all the steps of your work or process that we have agreed upon.

6. About two weeks later, you will receive a link to an online gallery, where you can review and select your favorite photos.

7. I finalize the edit and deliver the photos to you through a downloadable online gallery.
